Like when they introduced Susan’s character, I was muttering to myself, “Well, maybe this will liven th Why, why did I waste time reading this book when I could have been I don’t think it works that way. Maybe by accepting their fate Jack and Stephanie escaped the house, but why?
I originally read the book back when it was first released, I think, but this is my first time reading it after seeing the movie. I like a good horror story and this one delivered. I wouldn’t recommend anybody sensitive to violence or darkness in books to read this. I recommend it to the reader who enjoys and anticipates the fear of what might be around the corner, franm might be happening, and who you can trust.

Oh, ‘House’ is a horror novel all right; I was truly horrified that something like this got published and popularized.

The house is framk setting for a game; a creepy and horrible game that traps people in order to test their strength. Trying to follow which character is in what room of the house and which door leads to where which happens to take up much of the book was like reading a high epic fantasy novel and being expected to remember the pronunciation of every son of every king of every father of every country in whatever magical land that has 12 vowels in it.
Word to the wise, don’t read this while home alone teed at night. You are dekkker using your Twitter account. Theologically I think the entire idea of grace could have been I got lost in this book.
